Ganesha (Ganpatibapa)
-Elephant Head: Symbolizes wisdom, intelligence, and the ability to think big.-Large Ears: Represents listening to devotees’ prayers and absorbing knowledge.-Trunk: Signifies adaptability and efficiency.-One Broken Tusk: Symbol of sacrifice and the importance of retaining the good while discarding the bad.-Mouse (Vahana): Represents desires; Ganesha riding the mouse symbolizes control over desires.

-Birth Story-
There are multiple stories, but the most popular one says:
-Ganesha was created by Goddess Parvati from sandalwood paste.
-Shiva, not recognizing him, beheaded him during a misunderstanding.
-To console Parvati, Shiva revived him by attaching an -elephant’s head.
-Festivals-
-Ganesh Chaturthi- is the grandest celebration, especially in Maharashtra, Karnataka, and parts of India—featuring decorated idols, processions, and immersion rituals.
